This test is used to detect qualitatively the Helicobacter pyloriantigens in human stool samples. This test is an in vitro diagnostic assay for professional use.

General Information

Helicobacter pylori is a gram negative spiral shaped bacterium infecting stomach mucosa. Epidemiological, experimental and clinical studies have showed that the microorganism acted in the pathogenesis of acute and chronic gastritis, chronic atrophic gastritis, intestinal metaplasia, peptic ulcer and cancer of the stomach.
